Naïve Mastering

Stereo Mastering

The goal of a stereo mastering is to have a final production that adheres to the requisites and quality standards of both CD and streaming services. This procedure operates only on the mixed stereo track. The service is also available as an online service.

Stem Mastering

This technique utilizes several tracks, each for a family of instruments (i.e. a track for drums, one for strings, etc.). This approach allows for a surgical operation on those stems that require a more delicate and specific treatment. Stem Mastering is also available as an online service.

Online & Remote Mastering

It is possible to send us the tracks of your project so that mastering can be done without your presence at the studio. With Remote Mastering, it is also possible to follow in real time and in high quality all the steps of the process from the comfort of your home.

Re-Mastering

Naïve Mastering can also operate on track that have been already mastered but do not fully satisfy you. Through micro- and macro-dynamics restoration techniques, perfecting the stereo image and punctual qualitative analysis, we can improve on the previous master to make it suitable to the music marketplace.

Mastering for
Streaming Media

Naïve Mastering offers a mastering service that can be optimised for online streaming. The methodology is constantly improved upon so to always offer full compatibility and the highest quality for all streaming platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music etc. Naïve Studio has been issued the exclusive Apple Digital Masters (ADM) certification.

Vynil Mastering

Thanks to dedicated analog equipment and proven techniques, it is possible to create a master that complies with the requirements for vinyl pressing. Each aspect is treated with care: bass and high frequency monitoring (bandpass and elliptic filtering, de-essing), intensity and phase checks to avoid signal distortion or mechanical issue when playing the vinyl.

PMCD/DDPi
format creation

After the mastering is done, a master copy is made. Naive can deliver the master copy in either PMCD (PreMaster CD) or as a DDPi file (Disc Description Protocol image). This is the step where PQ codes are inserted (ISRC, UPC/EAN and CD-TEXT), which will be communicated to us by you and your label to identify the tracks.
